I have made a goal. Next year I am going to run a Spartan race.
I watched Samuel get his trifecta this year and it inspired me. I am currently the heaviest I have ever been and probably the laziest. It's time for a change. I'm super motivated this time around. Sam has agreed to help me. He's given me advice on what I should/shouldn't eat and will be meeting me at the gym 4 nights a week to train.
My diet will consist of not less food, but more healthy choices. For lunch every day Samuel says "EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR LUNCH YOU WILL EAT HALF A CHICKEN BREAST, HALF A CUP OF BROWN RICE, AND HALF A CUP OF STEAMED BROCCOLI OR SWEET POTATOES. NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU ARE STILL HUNGRY, SNACK ON VEGGIES OR PROTEINS. IF YOU ARE SICK OF THE SAME STUFF, TOO BAD. WASH IT DOWN WITH WATER AND MAKE PLANS TO HAVE A KILLER BREAKFAST OR DINNER. ITS ONE MEAL YOU CAN SACRIFICE."
This made me laugh. But last night I prepared all my lunches for the week. Chicken, rice, and sweet potatoes or broccoli. Today I ate a container with sweet potatoes. I've decided that I really don't like them. They make me want to vomit. HA HA! So, from now on, it'll be broccoli. Hope I don't get sick of it...
I signed up at Golds Gym and will be going there for the first time tonight. I'm looking forward to it but also dreading it. I've had zero energy lately so I don't want to push myself too much but I know the reward will be worth it in the end!
Looking forward to becoming a Spartan, losing weight, and getting a rockin bod!
